The Veggie Shack Story

Starting in 2020 when the world as we knew it started to change, Bryan had an idea to help those who couldn’t go out. A 10 vegetable “veggie box” is how the Veggie Shack got its name. Delivering the veggie box to homes across town felt like hope to those who chose, or had to stay home out of necessity. As the summer came along we opened our outdoor roadside market in Hampton with ample space to socially distance. It became a place for people to come and get some sort of normality. We have and also will pride ourselves on the quality and value you get out of our produce.

Our produce comes from Ontario farms when in season. Whether it’s from down the road or down the highway you are supporting an Ontario Farmer.

Reopening on March 28, 2024, you can find us at our roadside market located at 2363 Taunton Road in Hampton. As well we will be attending Port Perry Farmers Market on Saturdays.
